About Caleo…
Caleo specialises in stunning fireplaces, hand crafted in France. Central, suspended, corner and wall mounted styles. Their Fireplaces are naturally wood burning, with conversions available for gas, bio-ethanol and electric.
Caleo pride themselves on a high standard of customer service. Caleo approached CM Digital Design to produce a stunning website that would showcase the beautiful fireplaces and designs that they are able to offer. As a leading company in their industry, having a website that was user friendly and also flowed effortlessly giving visitors the best possible user experience was imperative…
It was an absolute pleasure working with Pete in the completion of a new website for Caleo. Pete is passionate and incredibly knowledgable when it comes to fireplaces. Having worked within the premium fireplace sector for many years he tasked me with creating something truly stunning to showcase his range.
Specialising in premium high-quality fireplaces that are handcrafted in France, working exclusively with JC Bordelet. Because of the quality of the designer fireplaces, Pete wanted a website that truly showcases the brand perfectly. Having a visually stunning website that is able to encapsulate the wonderful range was absolutely crucial.
We started the project by fully running through the entire range of products and identifying their target audience. Caleo‘s target audience is highly specific due to the price range their products fall in to. The premium fireplaces are very different from the normal fireplaces widely available online. I knew that trying to get the fireplaces ranking from an SEO point of view would be incredibly difficult. Having so many companies targetting similar keywords although the products are only a fraction of the cost has been challenging.
Keyword ranking is reasonably straight forward with time and knowledge. However, the keywords specifically being targetted put us amongst a crowd of companies, offering much poorer quality alternatives. Much like Lada and McLaren both make cars, well the selection available from Caleo is very much the McLaren of fireplaces.
The stunning hand-crafted designs from are of an incredible standard, with a price point to justify the precision and quality of the product. There are only a small number of products sold each other which makes the JC Bordelet highly exclusive. The type of home or surrounding that would suit such designs will be something of grandeur.
The fireplaces are featured in properties that frequent shows such as House of the Year and Grand Designs. In fact, a video we are currently working on showcases the times the fireplaces have been featured on such shows. The variety of beautiful designs offers something for every multi-million-pound environment. Whether it is hanging from a high vaulted ceiling or showcased in the centre of a luxurious hotel, there is a design for you.
After we put a plan together for the website and exploring all the potential keywords we began the build. Ensuring that ease of flow across the site to view all potential designs enables visitors to find and fall in love quickly. Adding a search feature to the site allows returning visitors to quickly locate their chosen designs.
With a strong onsite SEO presence running deep throughout the site has led to the great success of Caleo. Now that we have a stunning website in place it is time to work on the SEO for the site. This is involving ongoing significant onsite SEO work in order to reach a new audience. I am also undergoing a large offsite SEO project to assist and support the growth of the site.
